Products Managed from Ideation through Realization
ControlSpace Designer software gives you the tools necessary
to configure the audio signal processing and network operation of Bose
Professional ControlSpace ESP and EX processors and end points, PowerMatch and
PowerShare amplifiers, and ControlCenter controllers. With a complete library
of signal processing functions, ControlSpace designer supports the open DSP
architecture of both ESP and EX processors, giving you the power to create
fully customized signal-processing designs. And network configuration tools
help you quickly set up all ControlSpace network devices for operation on the
larger ControlSpace control network.
Create a library of control functions using Parameter Set
and Group control functions. A single Parameter Set can change the state of a
single processing function — or a collection of various processing parameters
when invoked — while Groups give you the ability to control multiple gains
simultaneously or multiple instances of the same signal processing function
type. Plus, you can easily map both Parameter Set and Group programming
functions to the physical controls of a Bose Professional ControlCenter
controller, or invoke them remotely using a standard serial protocol,
time/schedule-based invocation, or general-purpose inputs.
Once the signal processing and control system design are
complete, Smart Simulation gives you the ability to test and modify all control
programming while offline. Smart Simulation uses virtual representation of Bose
Professional ControlCenter controllers to configure and test system control
programming — eliminating the need to connect to the actual system for control
testing purposes.
When actively connected to the system, ControlSpace Designer
software is used to configure the operation of all signal processing functions,
as a system interface for system commissioning, or as a system monitor during
operation. When configured for monitor mode, all device parameters are
protected, and the system operator only has access to virtual control centers
and amplifier monitor functions.
A number of integrated tools simplify and streamline the
design and configuration of Bose Professional devices that employ Dante® audio
networking.
ControlSpace Remote app
The ControlSpace Remote app provides wireless control of
networked Bose Professional system components. Personalized for each end user’s
device, various functions of the system can be adjusted:
· Volume levels and mute state
· Source selection
· Parameter set recall
ControlSpace Remote builder
ControlSpace Remote builder software is used by system
integrators to create custom control panels that are sent to the ControlSpace
Remote app. Using control panel templates from within Bose Professional
ControlSpace builder, integrators are able to quickly create unique interfaces
for wireless control of Bose Professional networked pro audio systems.
System designs created in ControlSpace Designer™ software
are easily imported into ControlSpace Remote builder software. Defined system
control elements such as volume, mute, source selection, tone EQ and parameter
sets are assigned to end-user friendly templates. Multiple app designs—each
personalized for a specific user’s control needs—can be created and tested from
ControlSpace Remote builder and sent wirelessly to mobile devices on the
control network.
ControlSpace Remote admin
ControlSpace Remote admin is intended to be used by local IT
/ managers that want to be able to push ControlSpace Remote designs to new
devices without having to involve the integrator. There is no ability to modify
the ControlSpace Remote design ensuring design integrity is maintained.
Versions are available for both Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS X.
Business Music System Designer (BMSD) is an online
interactive design tool that aids in specifying the right Bose Professional
sound products in commercial audio applications. Hosted online and free to access,
this tool helps users quickly choose the right sound solution for specific
applications and customer budgets. It makes recommendations, based on simple
parameters such as room dimensions, mounting style, desired coverage and volume
level. The tool then provides “good” and “better” options for loudspeaker
quantity, tap settings, placement locations and spacing.
Business Music System Designer reduces design
time and increases confidence that the right system has been recommended,
without requiring deep technical knowledge. The next update to the tool will
produce further system recommendations, including amplifier and accessories
selections, as well as other useful options. The web tool’s intuitive visual
user experience and reporting capabilities enable integrators to turn estimates
around quickly, while helping to build credibility and more productive
engagements with their customers.
A 3D modeling program for acoustic design and analysis, Bose Professional Modeler software helps system designers and acoustic consultants predict sound system performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. From places of worship and multi-purpose spaces to hospitality venues, stadiums, auditoriums, and more.
The software’s advanced algorithms predict acoustic performance of a space, including direct and reflected energy, and Speech Transmission Index (STI). Designers can iterate quickly using Modeler’s proprietary calculation pipeline, allowing them to trial different loudspeaker configurations and placements for optimal coverage, SPL, and intelligibility.
Modeler also features an import function — to easily translate model data from standard CAD software — and an acoustic matching function, which matches the acoustic performance of the model to that of the real room. Array construction tools also help automate the creation and layout of complex loudspeaker arrays.
Create custom-fit designs in less time. Bose Professional Array Tool software helps AV system designers produce precise sound system designs quickly. The Array Tool features an intuitive interface and familiar workflow, so it requires minimal training. Using the direct-field calculation engine, you can quickly trial different loudspeaker models, placements, and coverage formations to best match the needs of the venue. Once designed, export ordering lists, rigging, and array information — so your loudspeaker designs move out of the virtual world and into the real world — in virtually no time.
Intuitive Workflow
— Start experimenting with complex loudspeaker solutions in less than 15 minutes. A quick-start, three-step process minimizes the need for training, so you can move rapidly through the room design – from sketching the listener areas, to fitting loudspeakers to those areas, to saving an auto-generated report.
Quick-iteration Engine
— Visualize the coverage effect on a venue in nearly real-time using intuitive drawing tools that allow you to place room surfaces and loudspeakers dynamically.
Production Output Reports
— View and export output information for easy and accurate product ordering as well as parameters for on-site focusing, setup, and rigging.
